Judge J. Michael Luttig has talked recently about his fear over how the GOP may cause yet another and quite possibly the final consititional crisis of these United States. Like many citizens, I share the alarming concerns raised by retired federal judge J. Michael Luttig regarding the Speaker of the House potentially appointing a Trump loyalist Clerk. As Judge Luttig has warned, such a maneuver could be used to improperly delay or deny the seating of duly elected Democratic representatives, subverting the will of the voters and undermining the foundational rules of our constitutional republic.
